Rugby training for the Clanwilliam senior teams and under 20's resumes this Friday, July 18th, at 8pm. Newcomers and any players who may not have played in
the last few years are encouraged to come along, get fit and enjoy their rugby.
The annual summer Tag Rugby tournament is happening at the moment. Week two takes places next Saturday evening at 6pm. There are 12 teams taking
part and produced some very competitive matches last Saturday. A spread of male and female players from age 16 to 50 makes for an entertaining and fun event. Next Saturday's play will be followed by
music and a barbeque, so come along on Saturday for a good evening out.

Clanwilliam First XV put in an encouraging display in beating Carrick in a friendly on Sunday. Next week, the team travels to Kinsale on Sunday for the Challenge Cup (KO 2.30). It was great to see a Clanwilliam seconds team in action at this early stage of the season. A squad of twenty three players saw action on Sunday putting in a very determined and spirited display. Clanwilliam Under 13's had a successful outing in the Pat Lawlor Tournament at UL Bohemians on Saturday last. The team had wins over Ennis and Nenagh before unluckily loosing out to a late try from eventual winners Cork Con in the semi-final of the Pate competition.
